can be lost if:

• the user physically loses the device and seed phrase backups

• the device fails and seed phrase backups are lost

• the user resets the device and seed phrase backups are lost

Attacks include:

• zero-day Ledger-specific exploits

• physical theft of the device in an unlocked state
